Golf with no Barriers
Carla De Albertis, Councillor responsible for Health at the Municipality of Milan, introduced the “Golf with no Barriers” project to the press. The Federazione Italiana Golf Disabili (FIGD) and the Lions Club support this intention.
The initiative will last 8 months, and the target is young disabled people. After the training, there will be a contest among all the participants.
The institutions involved are AIAS (Monza), Istituto Don Gnocchi (Milano), Istituto dei Ciechi (Milano – Sport club), C.T.O. (Milano); Campo pratica ASD Sportmaster Mediolanum (via General Covone) and Golf Club Monza (Muggiò).
Within the project there is also a medical Committee, composed by Marco D’Imporzano (Università degli Studi - Milan and head physician of Istituto Ortopedico ‘G. Pini’); Arturo Guarino and Antonio Memeo (Istituto Ortopedico ‘G. Pini’).
