Disabled golfers can play the International Open every year: this contest is organized by different nations on the best golf courses in Europe; the European Championship is organized every two years.

The Italian Championships for disabled golfers were played on the following golf courses: Golf Club Modena (1999 and 2000), Golf Club le Fonti (Bologna - 2001), Marco Simone Golf Club (Roma -2002), Golf Club Castelconturbia (Novara - 2003), Golf Club Rimini (2004), Golf Club Lignano (2005), Golf Club Montecchia (Padova - 2006), Circolo Golf Is Molas (2007)..... On the same golf courses was played the International Open of Italy for professional players, too.
