Alessandro Giacomelli

Was born in 1941, he suffers by ankylosis of the left leg. He started playing in 1980, and he was one of the first golfers to join the FIGD. In 2003 he was 2nd at the European Open for Disabled in Denmark (third category); in 2004 he is 1st at the Italian Open in Rimini (third category), 2nd at the Open in Switzerland (third category), 2nd at the European Open - Wantzenau Golf Club (France) (third category);  in 2005 is 2nd at the Italian Open in Lignano (third category), 2nd at the Edga tournament (third category); in 2006 he is 1st at the Italian Open in Montecchia (third category), 2nd at the Open of Austria in Scharding (third category), 3rd at the Open Rancia - Queven (third category), 1st at the Edga tournament (third category); in 2007 he is 1st at the Italian Championship for pharmacists in Martellago (second category), 1st at the Italian Championship Panathlon (third category) and 2nd at the Pen Austria - Scharding (third category).
His Ega is 25,1.

He is married with Lia.
